Re: 3:16 - Planet Designation "Bosch"

    OOC:

Guys/Girls  I'm sorry but I am not going to be able to attend these sessions for a while.

I wish to let you know right now.

I am leaving for basic training for the US Army, and Today is my last day with Computer access for a while, So I thank you for all the Fun times and wish I could stay longer.

However I was very surprised when I signed up that I had only a week until I had to board the plane and as you can imagine alot of it was getting everything in order. So this was the Last thing I had to do before I headed out. Again I am sorry for just up and quitting like this.

Signed, Hopefully future health care specialist (Medic)

    thehitman4u

BTW Doc is based on one of my D20 characters: After getting hit with a M2HB(7dmg) He Dived on a grenade (The GM rolled out Max Damage >18)  and saved his Squad,, I really missed him

He was Only Level 3 Dedicated Hero (16hp), Alas the medics always die early.

Re: 3:16 - Planet Designation "Bosch"

OOCSorry to see you go, Thehitman4u!  Good luck, be safe and try to have a good time.  Thanks for playing. Smile  Well, at least combat will go a little quicker with just the (what is it, two now?) players we have left.  Thanks again, and we appreciate the heads up.

Re: 3:16 - Planet Designation "Bosch"

Tackling the alien to the ground, Monsignor rips off two of its arms off while kneeling on the still attached limbs. In a berzerker state of mind, Monsignor then proceeds to shove the arms straight down the alien's throat. Placing his hands on either side of the creature's head, the Corporal twists its head around sharply, a sickening crack sounding. Not stopping there, Monsignor rips the alien's head off, blood spurting from 3 stumps.

The head will make a nice trophey.

((Edit: Have Monsignor attack another creature.))

Re: 3:16 - Planet Designation "Bosch"

The cat-men leap upon the assembled troopers, clinging to them with four limbs while the remaining two stab at them with large blades, aiming for the weak points at the joints.  A few manage minor injuries on some of the troopers, but mostly they simply aren't able to penetrate the sturdy Mandelbrite armor.

    OOCNext Alien action: ATTACK again.

    We're skipping Tex.
Nova, your go!  Just provide some color here.  You can pretty much describe anything that doesn't involve a significant change in range, switching weapons, or killing anything.  You can even describe the activities of some of the NPC troopers if you want.  Also choose your action for next round (ATTACK, SWITCH WEAPONS, ETC).

Jet holds his ground, his slug thrower belching fire as he slowly and surely drops the things one at a time, waiting for a clean shot before spliting there skulls and letting there blue brains spill on the ground, noting how the earth is rapidly being staning red and fuschia with blood, human and other.

Re: 3:16 - Planet Designation "Bosch"

OOCNote: Nova, that was an awesome description, but keep in mind that it should line up with the mechanical results.  Previously you failed your Fighting Ability roll, and even if you had succeeded, the maximum kills at Close range is '1'.  Just letting you know.

    Aliens (AA 7): 10
    Monsignor (FA 7): 9
    Jet (FA 5): 10

Well, everybody failed.  This is just color then...  Aliens, Jet, then Monsignor.

The aliens just keep pouring out of the mist.  Troopers on the outside manage to shoot down a few of them, but many more leap upon the troopers, hacking futiley at their armor.  However, a few troopers are so overwhelmed by the voices in their heads that they take shots at their own men!  Also, the aliens howl some ungodlly noise as they attack, perhaps it's what passes for a curse, or a battlecry in their alien minds.

Jet is slamed in the chest by a running trooper or three as he sttempts to get a clear shot. He goes down with a crash that is heard over the screaming, and slowly drags himself back to his feat.

In a blur, the cat-like monster of a being guarded against Monsignor's attack. The Corporal was sent flying backwards, with little to no harm done to the man. It did hurt his pride though. Nonetheless, Monsignor picked himself back up, intent on trying the assault once more.

Re: 3:16 - Planet Designation "Bosch"

    Aliens (AA 7): 8 (FAIL)
    Monsignor (FA 7): 5 (Hand-to-Hand) 1 KILL
Jet (FA 5): 5 (Slug Rifle) 1 KILL

OOCLucky!  Monsignor describe your 1 kill, then Jet describe your 1 kill.  Those will be the last of them.  The other aliens were cleaned up by the remaining troopers.

For the record, I've used up 4 of my 10 Threat Tokens, so this mission is almost half done.

Re: 3:16 - Planet Designation "Bosch"

Finally getting his aim, Jet slowly draws a bead on an important looking alien, His towering form allowing him to aim over other troopers, is feet sinking deep into earth made soft with blood. He fires, the crack of his rifle heard only to him, the burst of fire lost amid a thousand of its companions, the bullet, however was felt only by the poor wretch who's skull it just split.

Re: 3:16 - Planet Designation "Bosch"

The rapid pounding inside of Monsignor's chest was mind numbing. Heat seemed to be emanating profusely underneath his protective Mandelbrite armor. Slicked with sweat and grime, he throws a right hook at the fiend's side, smoothly transitioning into an uppercut with his left fist. Still on its feet, the alien attacks back, reaching out with its claws to shred at Monsignor.

Feet planted firmly, Monsignor pulls a striking limb towards himself, bringing the battling duo closer together. In a final rush, he swings an arm around its neck, with the other hand tightly gripping the thing's jaws, and snapped its spine with a quick twist. The alien made a glutteral sound which ended abruptly, sinking to the Corporal's feet.

With a sigh of relief, he stares curiously at the fallen thing...

"Zzzzt... Sergeant!  Status report!  Come in Sergeant Doc!  What is your status?  zzzzt...", the sergeant's radio hisses, but the sergeant is dead and unable to answer.  One of the aliens lies draped over his body, dead as well.  Their blood mingles in a pool beneath them.  Again, Lt. Coghill's voice emanates from the radio at the sergeant's side.  "Zzzt... Status report!  Is there anybody there?!  ...zzzzt"

    OOCWhat now?

I'm going to grab the radio and look for the highest ranking officer nearby.

Into the radio: "This is Trooper Murdock, Sergant Doc is incapacitated, I am transferring communication to the highest ranking survivor." *runs up to Corporal Monsignor and hands him the radio*
