    My most recent campaign

So my local DnD group started up a new campaign. Sadly only 3 of us showed up, so we didn't have the full party. I started off playing a hexblade, and my friend decided to play a cleric of ehlonna. So we wandered into a town where women had been dissapearing in broad daylight. Since the cleric was female, we decided that she would wander around, and I would follow. Soon enough 2 skeletons attacked the cleric, and knocked her out. They began carrying her away. I followed, but since the cleric was bleeding out my hexblade attacked the skeletons. Fortunately they were weak and died easily. We then headed the direction that the skeletons had been going. We came upon a crypt, and went inside. We fought some undead, and had relatively little difficutly until we came upon an owl bear skeleton. We both got high initiative rolls, and both did a bunch of damage to the thing. Then it killed the cleric with its first attack. I ran away screaming. I then ran back because the DM informed me that it had few hitpoints. It dropped me down to 2 hitpoints, so I ran away screaming. Again. I convinced the town guards to come help me kill the thing. I then found a cleric, and convinced her to ressurect my party member at a discount. So we began to explore the crypt again. After I walked strait into some traps, we came across a secret door. This was the only part of the crypt we hadn't explored. We went through it, and came upon the final enemy, a wight. I drank a potion of blur, and began to attack. Fortunately for us the wight had terrible rolls, and missed (making the potion of blur pointless) a lot. So we managed to dispatch it quickly. As it died it said "too late." We left the crypt, laden with treasure, and going back to town, even though we didn't find the missing women. And we wandered strait into a zombie invasion. The town was full of undead. We killed of a few, until the town butcher came out of a building and began slaughtering the skeletons attacking us. He informed us that an army of undead had come and attacked the town. Those that died rose up again as undead. In other words, a zombie apacolypse. And then the butcher stabbed me. We fought back, and were surprised when he didn't bleed when I shoved my greatsword through his stomach. We managed to kill him. And then the gaming session ended.
