So its getting pretty cool, the CV30, I'm liking the direction I'm heading in with it.
I put up my gnome illusionist for Chelsea's campaign, looking forward to playing him. He can be seen here: http://dndorks.com/cvaultview/11/page/0/default.aspx
I'm trying to make it printable, and I also want the ability to add ability modifiers on the fly and have it cascade throughout the page. Unfortunately that means I can't have the attacks as freeform as it is now.
Basically right now you can put in your attacks like you would on your character sheet, say +3/+3 for claws if you were a shifter.
Well I can't have that if I do what I'm think of, instead you'd have to choose what type of attack it is. I'm thinking a drop down like the following:
Str Hit, Str Dmg
Dex Hit, Str Dmg
Dex Hit, Dex Dmg
Dex Hit, No Dmg
Or maybe I'll do it a bit different. Have a drop down for the To Hit Type with all 6 attributes, and another with damage, and of course another option that says neither.
Then there'd be +/- symbols near the stats and if you pumped them up it would affect all your skills, saves, attacks. Heck, maybe i'll go another step and have it calculate AC, but for now I don't think thats quite necessary.
