Sanguinar, a place known only through myth and legend, known to contain massive amounts of treasure for whoever can make it back alive, do you dare enter the halls of the dread lord of Sanguinar? Do you dare face the danger? Are you brave and strong enough to defeat the dark lord.
This campaign is for 4 players level 1 to 3.
I can only update on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays between the hours of 6pm and 8:30pm, and as early as 1:30pm on saturdays for personal reasons.

Re: the lord of Sanguinar
If its 3.5 count me in, what do you want for characters?

Re: the lord of Sanguinar
answer 1) D&D 3.5
answer 2) you will need a cleric, probably a paladin/fighter/barbarian, a rogue/bard and some sort of Spellcaster (druid/wizard/sorcerer), i would recommend playing a Bow specialist rogue or a variant ranger of some sort, but really it is first come, first pick of character class, so i would just play in your own style or adjust to the classes people have already picked.
question: are you bothered about me not being here all the while? as i have a lot going on at the moment, time is scarce for me

edit: level 1 campaign, be gentle with me, this is my first game as a DM,

Re: the lord of Sanguinar
Fighter/Ranger (archery specialist) coming up.
Does level 1-3 mean any level between 1-3 or first level and we will be playing up to 3rd level?
Gentle, what is this gentle thing?
I'm using the 32 point buy system, is that okay or do you want us to take a chance on rolling?

Re: the lord of Sanguinar
Level 1-3 means that you will probably not fight anythinh stronger than say a level 3 NPC with some extra abilities, it also means that you should create a level 1 or level 2 character for this.
Gentle means just take it easy on me.
You can use the 32 point buy system if you want, or you can roll, i'm not really that bothered which one you use, sorry if this makes me sound uncaring.
I would also like to apologise for necro'ing those forum games, i have an overactive imagination and a natural desire to win.

Re: the lord of Sanguinar
First post didn't get posted for some reason so I try again. Had to make 2nd level in order to sneak the Ranger into the mix. Posted in Character swamp under name Knute Prize. Also have him stored in Tangled web if you want to see the whole sheet

Re: the lord of Sanguinar
tangled web?
good now all the group needs is a cleric, a wizard/sorcerer and a barbarian/paladin if you are going to focus on ranged combat

Re: the lord of Sanguinar
1) are you going to edit your own profile throughout the course of the campaign, if not can you change the DM name on Knute Prize from Greatest Guy to Greatguy.
2) In D&D 3.5, Rangers don't gain access to Combat Styles until they obtain a second level in ranger if you don't believe me visit http://www.systemreferencedocuments.org/35/sovelior_sage/ranger.html

Re: the lord of Sanguinar
Ha, you got me, I rolled up my character on a character generator and it asked me what track and I answered without thinking it was only 1st level. Correction made. Do we have anybody else yet?
http://www.thetangledweb.net
Funny thing is I had the character sheet right on Tangled Web, don't know why I goofed here but then I only claim to be good looking, not smart.

Re: the lord of Sanguinar
So far me, you and Richard are the only people to post on this thread, but i don't know whether Richard plans on joining in or not.
I don't know whether people are turned away by it going to be slower than normal campaigns, i would also like to point out that the pace of this campaign may be hindered by the fact that I am doing this from England not America.
Thanks for the link as well and thanks for changing the DM name to the right one, I am sure you are a very smart person though.

Sorry to have ti "nitpick again" but my name is spelt Greatguy not GreatGuy, I know it is a subtle difference but the character vault won't allow me access to Knute Prize's manage character area, again i am sorry.
I see that you have corrected the DM name in the character vault, but for some reason the vault still won't allow me access to the manage area for Knute Prize, i know that this isn't a big deal at the moment, but I would appreciate some help on how to rectify this.

I can't find anyplace where I capitalized 'G' except on my first try, should have written it down. Relying on fossilized memory, and a small amount of flesh still undamaged between my ears. I only claim to be good looking, not smart. I am over 50 miles from nearest bunch of gamers so post is all I have, nit pick away, I'm slow out of the gate but I try. This computer thing is still kind of new to me. Wasn't that long ago I was using clay tablets and pointy sticks.
England is no handicap, I am retired because of disability so I have more time than money and I am gaming with a guy from Australia and pen pals on Myspace with Canadians and Norwegians and I find them nearly as strange as me so don't be apologizing. Besides I spent some time in London giving a pick pocket a hard time and Portsmouth doing the Hokey Pokey dance with a crew from one of your carriers. Probably way before you were born. Little Irishman, a technician at BBC taught me to drink Guiness, smoke bad cigars and sing naughty songs. I didn't realize dirty limericks were popular over seas, thought that was a Yankee countryboy thing. I was young then.

Re: the lord of Sanguinar
I was thinking of a Strongheart halfling druid with a wolf animal companion, if thats ok, I'll probably have it up tonight. I'll also check the vault to make sure it lets you in to see it.

Re: the lord of Sanguinar
Ok, so you are going to play the healer for the party then? By the way if you don't mind, can you use the SP system instead of the SPD system please, i find it makes keeping track with spellcasters easier. I would sincerely appreciate it if you did.
Spell point system rules located at: http://www.systemreferencedocuments.org/35/sovelior_sage/unearthedSpellPoints.html
Thankyou Old Grump for being so supportive and i am very glad to hear you think so much of the British (namely the Irish as i have Irish ancestors, GUINNESS AND LEPRECHAUNS ROCK!)
St Paddies day represents that the Irish know how to throw a holiday, so grab a pint of guinness, the nearest red-headed lass and let's have a party!

Re: the lord of Sanguinar
I figured healer/tank/caster as a druid with my wolf. If someone else joins to assume one of those roles then I can adjust accordingly, but right now if its just me and Grump a druid does a good job of filling holes in the party structure.
