Capernus Valorin - Burning Wheel Style

I like (or think I like) the Burning Wheel Revised RPG, and so sometimes I like to play with making characters (like we all do sometimes).  So here is Capernus from the D&D 4e game I'm in.  I'd normally go for 3 Lifepaths for a D&D character, but 4e chracters are a bit more competent than that, so I'm going with 4 Lifepaths.  I could probably do 5, but I'd like some room to grow.
    Here we go:

    Name: Capernus Valorin
    Concept/Bio: Mercenary Ex-Sergeant
Lifepaths: City Born, City Guard, Lead to Professional Soldier, Foot Soldier, Sergeant
    Age : 26
    Stats: Will: B5, Pereception: B3, Power: B7, Forte: B4, Agility: B3, Speed: B3, Speed Mult.: x3.5
    Attributes: Reflexes: B3, Steel: B6, Hesitation: 5, Health: B5, Mortal Wound: B11, Circles: B2, Resources: B0
    PTGS("Damage Track"): Superficial: B3  Light: B5  Medium: B7  Severe: B9  Traumatic: B10  Mortal: B11
    Beliefs:
I feel naked without my pistol.  I must acquire a new one as soon as possible.
The people of Brindal need a hero.  I will rescue the missing villagers.
Leadership is the keystone that keeps the world from tumbling down.
    Instincts:
Always draw my sword at the first sign of trouble.
Always have a loaded pistol handy.
Never show fear before my men.
    Traits: Charismatic, Shows No Fear
Skills: Armor Training, Brawling B1, Command B5, Field Dressing B1, Firearms B1, Firebuilding B1, History B1, Intimidation B2, Polearm B1, Shield Training, Soldiering B2, Sword B5
    Affiliations: 1D Black Boot Brigade
    Reputations: None
    Relationships: None
Gear: Sword & Dirk, Traveling Gear, Clothes, Boots, Chainmail Armor & Shield, Riding Horse
    Property: None
    Spells: None
    Weapons:
    Bare Fisted I:B4 M:B7 S:B10 Add 2 VA - Fast Shortest
    Longsword I:B5 M:B10 S:B15 Add 2 VA - Slow Long
    Dirk I:B4 M:B8 S:B12 Add 1 VA - Fast Shortest
    Armor:
    Chainmail - Torso (5D), Arms (4D), HalfLegs (2D), Head (4D)
(+1 Ob to non-weapon Agility-based tests, Speed tests, +2 Ob to Stealthy, Swimming, Perception)

So, the character is a bit younger than the D&D version.  That's just the way the system works.  Taking the "Veteran" Lifepath as well would probably round him out to the same age and experience, but again, I didn't want to fill it all in at once.

He's charismatic, willful and brave as befitting a "Warlord".  He's got an assortment of skills picked up from soldiering, with his "Command" and "Sword" skills being the focus.  He also knows how to use armor and a shield.  Unlike the D&D 4e character, he's got a black-powder pistol.  Why?  Because the rules allow it and it's cool.  If I could get one for D&D 4e, I probably would.

He's got an Affiliation with his old mercenary group, so he can usually find one of them when he needs a helping hand.  But why did he leave?  That's something to explore later.

He carries a sword and dirk and basic clothes and traveling gear.  He has a suite of chainmail armor, a shield and a riding horse.

He's got some friends here and there from his travels (Circles: B2), but he's dirt poor (Resources: B0) and likely living from job to job.  (Ah, the typical "adventurer", also known as "murdering hobo".)

    Anyway, there you go.  Fun!
